In the Train I Sit and Listen

As I sit in the train, I can hear people talking, the sound of the train moving and a crying baby. The sound of the train moving keeps getting higher and higher as the trains peed up. There is also the sound of the crying baby, a sound that have lasted for more than two minutes and is beginning to irritate me. I can hear more people talking far away from were I am sitting, but I can't make up what they are saying, they are creating a strange sound. I hear the train door open, I hear the sound of people foot steps as more people come in and leave. "get ready for closing doors" 8th time I heard this sound since I got in the train. I hear the train start to move again, as the train sped up the sound from the moving train keeps getting higher and highers, as the train slows down, the sound keeps getting lower and lower, very strange sound, there is nothing else I can compare it to, this sound is unique to the moving train. I hear how the train suddenly stops, I hear the doors open. As I leave the train, I can hear many sounds at once, so many sounds that I could not tell where each sound was coming from. As I leave the train station, the sounds keep getting quieter and quieter, then I hear two women talking, at this point their voices where the higher sound around, but my lack of interest in their conversation made it hard for me to understand what they were saying. As I reach the exit of the train station, I start to hear moving cars. I hear cars speeding up and slowing down. I hear people talking, people shouting, I can hear the annoying cars horns. A very familiar sound for a New Yorker.
